Meizu has officially launched the M2 Note in India for Rs.9,999. It will be available exclusively through Amazon starting form August 10. It has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display. It is powered by 64-bit Mediatek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T 720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device comes with hybrid SIM slot, where you can insert microSD card instead of one SIM.
It runs on Android Lollipop based Flyme OS and backed by 3100mAh of the battery. On the camera front, it has 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera.It has 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot with up to 128GB support. The Meizu M2 Note is 0.2 mm thinner than M1 note.
This handset offers dual SIM and 4G LTE connectivity (FDD-LTE, TD-LTE; TD-SCDMA). It will sport a physical home button but will not feature a fingerprint scanner and will be available in Blue, White, Rose and Grey color options. The device measures 150.9 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm and weighs 149 grams.
Earlier: The live images of Meizu M2 Note ( or M1 Note 2)along with the MX4 Pro was leaked. This leak comes from the Chinese social network Weibo’s user @ubuntu.
As can be seen in the images, the home button seems to be redesigned and has an oval shape. The Meizu M2 Note will not have a fingerprint sensor as it was confirmed by one of the executives earlier. The new Home button happens to be a design change, without any kind of new functionality built or included. It ought to run on Meizu’s Flyme OS that is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop when it arrives.
Yesterday, Amazon has listed the Meizu M1 Note on their site. The smartphone will go on sale on May 20th in India. The price of the smartphone has not been revealed yet. Chinese smartphone maker Meizu had released a teaser back in March on its Facebook page hinting at an India launch soon.
