Once the firmware gets updated successfully, the phone will be rebooted and will prompt you to select the Country and Language preferences.
- Disconnect the same and follow the on screen instructions to get the home screen. You may skip the Wi Fi settings option and Gmail configuration part.
Tip: Just in a rare case if the device doesn’t boot up or gets into the continuous Boot loop mode, you need to reinsert the battery and boot the device normally.
- Now so as to get away from the force close errors if any, turn Off the device as you need to get your phone ON in the recovery mode.
- Recovery mode in Galaxy S III can be entered by pressing Volume Up Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/factory reset”, “Wipe Cache partition” and then reboot your device by selecting “reboot system now”.
