Procedure to Update Galaxy Vibrant with Custom ICS 4.0.4 ROM Firmware:
- First up you need to download the Ex ROM 1.3 ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once you download it, you then will have to connect your phone to copy this zip file in your phone’s SD Card. Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into the folders.
- Once you copy the file, disconnect the phone connected from computer and turn Off the device so that the device can then be entered in the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. In the recovery screen, select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” for rebooting the system. If the phone refuses to show the home screen even after 3 – 4 minutes of restart, you need to then reinsert the battery.
