Instructions for users on Custom ROM:
If you using any Custom Rom then first of all you need to clear cache, wipe the data and wipe dalvik cache too. This can be done my rebooting your phone in Recovery mode. Dalvik Cache can be cleared by entering into advanced option in Recovery mode. This will remove options like Clockwork Mod and other tools from your phone.

Installing this ROM will require you to be on the XXJVQ firmware, so just in case if you are not on this firmware then you need to first get on to this firmware and then you also again have to root the phone which you can do so by following the below mentioned links. This update is not the Official update which is released by the Samsung Electronics Ltd. and is the custom ROM which is released by the third party developer.

Just in case if you are not sure of the version on which version the phone is updated to then you can have a check the same. All you need to do is to just go to the path in your phone that is Settings > About Phone > Firmware Version where you will find the version of Android OS where it will show XXJVQ 2.3.5.
