Procedure to update Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with ZNKG5 2.3.4 Firmware:
- So, once you are done with the above instructions, all you need to do now is to download the Gingerbread 2.3.4 Zip Package from here to you desktop so that you can easily locate the same. Now, once you download the file, the next thing you will have to do is to just right click on the file and need to select the option of “Extract Files”.
- Please note that in the process of extraction, you will be prompted to enter the password. The password is “androidadvices.com” without the inverted comas. As soon as you enter the password, click on Ok to proceed and then the files will be extracted successfully to desired location.
- Now, after this you will find two files which are the Odin as well as the firmware file which are shown below.
- After this, you will have to download the PIT file which due to some reasons couldn’t add the same in the zip file above. The PIT file which you have downloaded will have to be extracted to get the file with the name “u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit“. We will see in the due course of this article on how you can use the same in firmware updation.
- Now, up next you will have to open the “Odin Multi uploader” file from the extracted folder and then you will have to now turn the phone Off as you will have to turn your phone ON in the download mode as shown in a short video below for your convenience,
- Now, as soon as you get into the download mode, you will have to connect the Galaxy S2 GT I9100 to the computer with the help of USB cable while Odin opened in the desktop. As soon as you connect the phone, you will see that first ID:COM box as shown below will turn yellow and in the message box you will see that it will show ADDED as shown in the below snapshot and after that you will have to add the files respectively as shown in the next page,
