Procedure to update Samsung Galaxy S 2 GT I9100 with Gingerbread XXKG1:
- Before proceeding first up you will have to download the XXKG2 Gingerbread Package which contains all the required files which we will be requiring on how you can update the phone with the update. Please note that after downloading ensure that you move the same to the desktop so that you can easily track the same.
- Now, go to your desktop and right click on the same where you will find an option of “Extract Files” and need to select the same after which you will see the prompt as shown below.
- After selecting the file, you will now have to choose the location to the desktop so that you can extract the files as shown in the below screen shot.
- Please note as soon as you choose an option to extract files, you will be prompted to enter the password wherein you will have to enter the password as “androidadvices.com” without the inverted comas.
