Stage 2:
- Download Cranium Firmware Zip file & Cranium Fix from here to your computer. Now, connect your phone to the computer with the USB cable to copy this downloaded zip file in your device’s SD Card.
- After ensuring that at least 50% battery charge is left in the device, it’s now time to turn Off your phone so as to enter the device in the recovery mode.
- The recovery mode can be entered by “Pressing Volume Up key+ Menu Key + Power ON the device”. Once you enter into the recovery mode, you need to select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” so that this will clear the cache which is there in your device.
- In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” after which you need to select the cramium zip file followed by the Fix Zip File.
- So, as soon as all the files are processed one by one in the recovery mode the device will be again be booted up in the recovery mode. The device will take around 10 minutes for updating the device.
- In recovery mode select “Wipe data/factory reset” & “Wipe Cache partition” so that this will clear the cache after which select “++++ Go Back ++++” and select “reboot system now” which will restart the Galaxy SL I9003.
Note: Please note that you will have to reconfigure the APN settings after updating the firmware to access the data services and the Internet services as all the Internet APN settings will be reset. You will have to contact your Service provider to get more info on the APN Settings or alternatively you too can make a note of it.
If the device gets in the Boot loop mode then you need to repeat the whole procedure from Stage 2.
