Rooting Information:
- Please note that applying this update in any manner won’t be rooting the phone and also you don’t even require to root the phone to apply this update of XXJH7. Also, just in case if you have rooted the phone, the root access will be revoked and you need to root the device again after applying this update process.
- Over the coming few days we will also come with an article where we will see on how you can not only root the phone but will also see on how you can apply the Froyo update so that you can make use of feature sets like Apps2SD etc.

Special Instructions for the users on Custom ROMs:
Please note that just in case if you are already on any of the custom ROMs then you need to first up get into the recovery mode and then you will have to choose the options like Wipe data/factory reset and after that select Wipe Cache partition. Reboot your device by selecting reboot system now after selecting the former options. As soon as you do so, all the cache files and the custom ROM specific files are erased completely after which you will not any issues regarding force close errors.
