Procedures to apply XXJH7 update to Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700:
- So, considering that you have followed all the instructions which are mentioned above you will now have to proceed to downloading of the Galaxy Spica XXJH7 Update Zip Package which contains all the necessary files which you will be requiring at the time of the update.
- In the process of the unzipping, you will be prompted to enter the password. Enter the password as “androidadvices.com”. As soon as you unzip the same, you will find the files as shown in the below screen shot. - Once you double check with the same, you need to click on the “Start” option in the Odin after which the firmware updation process will be started.
Note: Ensure that the “Re – Partition” option is not checked and is un ticked. ALSO, DON’T EDIT OR SELECT ANY OTHER SETTINGS IN ODIN.
- During the firmware update you will need to just ensure that you are not interrupting the process of firmware update, just in case if it gets interrupted due to unavoidable situations then you need to remove the battery, re insert it and then you need to again follow the instructions from the start.
- Now, once the firmware update is successful you will see that the device will be restarting and after that you will be prompted to enter the Language preferences followed by the Google Account settings after which you will be seeing the home screen in your phone which will mean that the firmware update has been successfully updated on your Galaxy Spica i5700.
- Please note that just in case due to some interruption in the firmware update if the update is unsuccessful then you will have to remove the battery, reinsert the same and then you need to follow the instructions again from the start so as to apply the update once again.
- Now, upon successful completion of the firmware update you will now have to enter into the recovery mode. The download mode in the Galaxy Spica i5700 can be entered by pressing the volume Up + camera + power key. If you are unable to get into the recovery mode for the first time then you need to try till you get into the recovery mode as without download mode you cannot proceed to further steps.
