Procedure to update SONY Ericsson Xperia Neo V with ICS 4.0.3 Firmware Version:
- Download the flash tool from here along with the Update file in your computer and then rename the update file as “C” and extract the contents of C to place the same in the “C:/flashtool”. In the process just in case if it gives you any prompt, then you need to select the option of “Yes”.
- After this, you need to open the flashtool.exe file in your computer and then go to the path C:/ flashtool > firmwares > and then delete all the files present in the path and then exit the same. After this, you need to download the ICS 4.0.3 Firmware Package for Xperia Neo V in your computer and extract the same to get the .ftf file.
- Now, after this on the right side of the flash tool, you will now need to match all the options which are mentioned below and then click on “Ok” for starting the process of firmware update.
- After the firmware is updated successfully, the device will reboot. You can check whether the firmware has successfully updated or not from the path “Settings > About Phone” where it will show the current firmware as ICS 4.0.3 version ST18i_4.1.A.0.562.
