Procedure to Update SONY Xperia PRO with ICS Android 4.0.4 Firmware Update:
- Download the ICS 4.0.4 Firmware Package from here to your computer and extract the same so as to get the .ftf file. Once downloaded, you now need to download and extract the Flash tool .
- Now, place the downloaded ftf file in the path “C:/Drive > flashtool > firmwares>” in your computer. As soon as you are done with it, you now need to open the flash tool in your computer.
- Click on the option “File option” and then select “flash mode” to click on “Ok”. You need to tick on the below mentioned options. Click on “Ok” to start the process of firmware update and once it’s done, you will be notified about the same in the screen pop out.
Note: Just in case of the data gets lost or corrupted, you need to check and restore the same. Also, if the device refuses to boot up or gets into the boot loop mode, you then will have to restart the device so as to again re follow the above steps.
