How to Update Sony Xperia Neo V with Official Gingerbread 2.3 Firmware

xperia neo v LogoSony Ericsson Xperia Neo V users can now rejoice as the users on custom ROM firmware or say on the beta ROM firmwares can now easily update the phones with the official version of Global Gingerbread 2.3 firmware version so that you can then benefit from the Official ICS firmware version which will be rolled out via PC Companion. Please note that downgrading to this Gingerbread firmware will in no manner void the warranty of the device. Essential Pre Requisites:

  • All the data in your Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V should be backed up so as to ensure that all the data is kept safe. Just in case if any data is lost or corrupted, the same can be easily  restored with the help of below mentioned steps.
