Vivo X3S with 5 inch display, 1.7 GHz octa-core processor Annoounced in India – Specs & Details

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo X3S in India today. Along with X3S, Vivo has launched its other smartphones including Vivo X5 Max (the world’s slimmest smartphone at just 4.75 mm thickness), Vivo X Y15, Vivo Y22 and Vivo X shot.

Vivo X3S has a 5” IPS display with 720* 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 1 MB RAM. Vivo has included many sensors including distance sensor, light sensor, G sensor and 3 axis gyroscope. Various connectivity options are provided including GPRS, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It has dual SIM support, 16 GB of internal storage with expansion slot and a 2000 mAh battery. The device is running on FunTouch OS, which is based on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It measures 143.27 x 71.03 x 5.95 mm and weighs 150 g.

On camera front, it has a 13 MP camera with f/1.8 apertures, while the front-facing unit is a 5 MP shooter. Both cameras can record 1080p videos too. Vivo has included many unique features in its camera app such as Normal, beauty, micro-video, HDR, POSE, pre-shot, night and panoramic.

Vivo have partnered with Viacom18 Integrated Network solutions that will help build up their brand in India. Vivo is the 6th largest company in China. Internationally Vivo is a leading Hi-Fi and smart smartphone brand well known for its innovative technology.

Vivo confirmed that its new Android smartphones will be available to buy via physical retail stores while confirmed that the handsets as of now will not be available through online retailers.

The Vivo X3S  will be available next week and the prices for the  handset will be announced then.
