Vivo X5 Max Platinum Edition with Snapdragon 615 CPU, 4150 mAh Battery Announced

Vivo has announced the X5 Max Platinum Edition, which comes with a larger battery. Compared to the original model this variant has a thickness of 7.2 mm which encloses inside a battery from well 4150 mAh.

The Platinum Edition of the X5 Max is powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset for the 64-bit MediaTek MT 6752 SoC. The other specs include a display of 5.5-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of Full HD , 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage expandable via micro SD up to 128 GB , back camera 13 megapixels with aperture f / 2.0 , support Dual SIM LTE and front camera 5 megapixels.

The Vivo X5 Max Platinum Edition supports 4G LTE, USB and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and features dual SIM (Nano SIM and Micro SIM) capabilities. It will be available in white and gold. There’s no word on pricing options and availability, but we suspect more details will emerge in the coming days so stay tuned for more info on the matter.

Vivo had launched the Vivo X5 Max smartphone last year. The phone measures a 5.5-inch full HD screen (1920×1080 pixels) display, Qualcomm 615 64-bit quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Vivo designed a motherboard for the Vivo X5Max that is merely 1.7mm thin. The dual-SIM phone house a micro SIM card and a nano SIM card. Its memory is expandable up to 128GB.
