The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Xshot 4G in India today. Along with Y22, Vivo has launched its other smartphones including Vivo X5 Max (the world’s slimmest smartphone at just 4.75 mm thickness), Vivo X 3S, Vivo Y15 and Vivo Y22.
The Xshot 4G is the high-end device from Vivo, and it comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p LCD display. Based on the internal specs, the Vivo Xshot will be available in two variants. Flagship one will have the Snapdragon 801 SoC, quad-core chipset clocking at 2.5 GHz, along with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Elite version is having the Snapdragon 800 processor, quad-core chipset clocking at 2.3 GHz, along with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
The phone comes with the LTE connectivity, Maxim MAX97220 headphone amplifier, 2600 mAh battery and it would have the Funtouch OS from Vivo, which is based on Android 4.4 Kitkat. The name suggests something about the camera, which is the main area of focus from Vivo, as both the cameras in the device come with a lot of inclusions as expected. It has 13-megapixel rear camera, f/1.8 aperture from Sony with the OIS, two-stage shutter button, Dual tone LED flash and a 4k video recording. It has 8-megapixel front camera with LED flash.
Vivo have partnered with Viacom18 Integrated Network solutions that will help build up their brand in India. Vivo is the 6th largest company in China. Internationally Vivo is a leading Hi-Fi and smart smartphone brand well known for its innovative technology. Xiaomi, Oppo, Gionee, and many other Chinese brands have already set their base in India. Vivo will be importing handsets into India initially, and within 3 years they will start their manufacturing unit in India.
The Vivo Xshot 4G will be available next week and the prices for the handset will be announced then.
