  • LG announced a new flip phone called ‘LG Wine Smart’ for international markets. It is the same device that the company launched in South Korea as ‘LG Gentle.’ It got some entry level specs with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. The countries to get the device first are UK, France, Spain, Italy, Poland, Kazakhstan, and Japan. LG hasn’t revealed the price of the device, but we expect it to be priced under $200 as the LG Gentle is being sold at $170 in South Korea.

  • Google announced the ‘Project Tango’ developer edition tablets in February 2014. At the time of launch, the device are priced at $1024 and are not made available to the public. Finally in May 2015, the company made it available to the public and also slashed the price to $512. But they are limited only to the US, and this week they are listed on Play Store on two others countries – Canada and South Korea. It will be followed by launches in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom starting August 26.

  • Gionee Marathon M4 is the latest smartphone in its Marathon series. It is priced at Rs.15,499 and features a massive 5,000mAh battery that provides 65 hours of talk time and lasts upto 463 hours n standby. It comes with a 5-inch HD display and powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front camera.

  • Turning Phone is a unique device made of liquid morphism metal is now up for reservation. It is priced at $610 and offers some unique design with some high-end specs. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is IPx8 certified that makes the device a water resistant. The device is available in three different internal storages 16GB/64GB/128GB. It is powered by Snapdragon 801 SoC with 3GB of RAM,

  • It is almost confirmed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 5 at the ‘Next Galaxy Unpacked’ event to be held on August 13 in New York. The rumors suggest the Note 5 to feature a 5.66-inch Quad HD display, Exynos 7420 octa-core SoC, 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and features a 16MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera. It is also rumored that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S6 Edge+ along with the Note 5.

  • Sony’s upcoming flagship Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact are expected to launch at the IFA 2015 to be held in September. The recent leak suggests the device to sport a fingerprint scanner. It will integrate into the power button on the right of the device. From the leaked image, we can also see the circular power button from the previous Xperia device is now elongated.

  • Nokia officially launched the N1 Tablet in the UK and Ireland. Before to this, the company launched the tablets in just China and Taiwan, and others have to import these countries. The tablets will be sold via NokiaShop UK that is maintained by a third party company called Colourful (2018) Limited. We can expect the tablet to be launched in other countries from Europe as weel.

  • This week we have seen Asus launching smartphones and tablets in India. The list includes the Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone Max, Zenpad 7.0 and Zenpad 8.0. As of now all this will be limited to India apart from few devices that are launched earlier at Computex 2015 held in Taiwan. The Zenfone Max is the only device that will be launched later in October, as the company has just hinted about the device.
