  • Meizu will soon officially launch their new smartphone named Meizu MX 5 Pro Plus. As per the leaks, this device will be powered by Exynos 7420 Processor alongside 4GB RAM and also Snapdragon 820 processor. It will come with a 6-inch HD display with 20.7MP rear camera and will also support other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. As of now there is not much information on the pricing and availability of this powerful smartphone.   • LG Nexus 5 Android smartphone has now been leaked and let’s check out the latest features and specs. The device looks similar to previously released Nexus 5 from the back as it also possesses Nexus logo at the back along with the camera and a hump that shows device comes with a high-resolution camera with flash. The circle at the back might be the fingerprint scanner that is also a confirmed feature from AOSP labs. It just might come with a 5-inch display and a better price tag as Google 6 didn’t work because of its high price.

Zenpad S will feature an 8-inch HD display powered by Intel® Atom Z3580 Quad-Core, 64bit processor coupled with 2GB / 4GB RAM and 16 / 32 /64GB as internal storage options. It comes with an 8MP rear camera with flash and 5MP front shooter and is packed with other vital elements. The new age Zenpad tablets is available for $299 USD at Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Newegg, Tiger Direct and the ASUS Store in Black and White color options.   • Google is again ready for the next generation of Android One smartphones. After launching Lava Pixel V1 in India as its 2nd Generation of Android One smartphone, Google has announced a made in Africa smartphone dubbed as “Infinix HOT 2” which is an affordable Android One smartphone. This new device will be available online through Jumia one of the largest online retailers in Nigeria at a price starts from N19,500 – N22,000. It will also be available in Kenya, Ghana, Morocco Ivory Coast and Egypt. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with a featured upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes with 5-inch HD display powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor alongside 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage. It also features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera and is packed with some other essential features.

  • HTC is ready with its next generation of flagship smartphone in the form of HTC O2. It features a 20.7MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter. It will be a tough competitor for the likes of ASUS, XiaoMi, OnePlus, etc. HTC is also planning to launch the 5-inch version of this smartphone in the coming year.

  • Stagefright 2 discovered by Trend Micro allows the hacker to run any of their codes on the Android Devices.   • Huawei has announced the new Honor 7i with a unique camera design and a smallest Fingerprint sensor. The Huawei Honor 7i is available in China and will come in two variants with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage priced at CNY 1,599 ($250). And the 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage priced at CNY 1,899 ($297). Coming to its specifications, the device will feature a 5.2-inch full HD 1080p IPS display offering 423ppi as pixel density. It packs a Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz quad-core + 1.2 GHz quad-core with Adreno 405 GPU and many other vital specs. The biggest asset of this smartphone is its 13MP rotatable camera that can be flipped 180 degrees for selfie-shooting. Another highlight of this device is ‘Fingerprint Sensor’ that is on left side of the phone that can be used to unlock the device and click camera shots using your thumb.

The highlight of this device is it sports a massive 256GB internal storage and is the only smartphone with that huge inbuilt storage. The other specifications of this huge smartphone are quite similar to ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe. Comprising of 5.5-inch full HD display, powered by 2.5 GHz Octa-core processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU backed with 4GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage. It sports a 13MP Camera at back with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with Pixel Master technology. The device also comes with Asus Boost Master fast charging technology along with 3000Mah Battery. ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe Special Edition will be available in Brazil from next month.   • Samsung is gearing up for the launch of their latest ‘Galaxy O’ series of smartphones that will join the comprehensive list of Galaxy A, Galaxy E, Galaxy S, Galaxy J lineup of smartphones. Samsung is developing two new devices called Galaxy O5, and O7 referred initially as SM-G550 and SM-G600 respectively. The devices under the Galaxy O series will be Virtual Reality based smartphones that will be launched in partnership with Oculus Rift. Earlier this companies have come up with VR headsets alongside Samsung Galaxy S6. The Galaxy O series smartphones are expected to launch at Oculus Connect2 event scheduled in Hollywood from September 23-25.
