The all awaited Xiaomi Mi3 has been launched in India today for Rs. 13,999. Xiaomi is considered to be the Apple of China and is expanding its business slowly in India also with release of many other devices along with the company’s flagship device Mi3. The company has been teasing its devices from few days on its official Indian page and now the device can be bought via Indian retailer Flipkart.
Coming to the device it boasts a 5 inch IPS display and is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 processor accompanied with 2 GB RAM and will run Android 4.3 Operating system out of the box, with the company’s own MIUI on top. It will have a 13 MP camera on the rear with LED flash and accompanied with 2 MP front facing camera. The device will be available in 16 GB variants but there no microSD card slot to extend the memory. At the back there is a 3050 mAh battery to power the device.

Xiaomi is coming to India and will be launching its first ever Mi phone called as the Xiaomi Mi 3 for Rs. 14,999. This device was originally announced last year in September and was released in December. This release will definitely make many companies sweat as its price is low when compared many other smart phone with similar specifications. This handset will be launched in India next week on 15th of July and it also the flagship device of the company.
The Xiaomi Mi3 has a 5 inch display with corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system with the company’s own MIUI on top. On the rear there is a 13 MP Sony Exmor sensor that is capable of taking 1080p videos and sadly there is no microSD card option to extend the memory. To power the device there is a 3050 mAh battery on the back.

Xiaomi, the China base smart phone maker is planning to make its entry in India with its Xiaomi Redmi Note & Mi3 and will be selling these devices exclusively via Flipkart. This bit of information came from a report from BGR. The Redmi Note was announced earlier this year in the month of March and the Mi3 was launch in Malaysia few weeks ago. Xiaomi is planning to increase its market by spreading its reach to different countries.
Flipkart is becoming a major source for many smart phone makers to sell their devices in India as it was the case with Motorola that sold its Moto E and Moto G exclusively on its website. This India’s largest e-commerce website has launched its first ever tablet called the Digiflip Pro XT712 that is based on Android Operating system for Rs. 9999 and bundles with many goodies and freebies. We know that Xiaomi do not advertise its products much so indeed their devices are cheaper compared to other smart phones.
Few e-commerce sites like eBay are already selling the Xiaomi devices in India but since it is unofficial many of them prefer not to buy. Coming to the pricing of Mi3, it will be available for Rs. 14999.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note features a 5.5 inch IPS HD display and is powered by MediaTek MT6592 processor coupled with Mali GPU and 1 GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi3 is a high end device that has a 5 inch 1080p IPS display and is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor at 1.8 GHz coupled with 2 GB of RAM and has a 13 MP Exmor RS CMOS camera on the rear.
