ZTE has launched a perfect competitor to the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy S4, and low-priced devices like Gionee Elife E6, Micromax Canvas Turbo A250, as they launch the ZTE Nubia Z5S, having a 5-inch Full HD screen with the CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) display having a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and a pixel density of 440 PPI, and the bezel is just 2.67mm thick. The screen comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Having a thickness of 7.6mm, the ZTE Nubia Z5S weighs around 120gm, and the internal powering provided in it is excellent. Under the hood, what keeps the device at the right pace is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocking at 2.3 GHz, and it’s a quad-core chipset along with the Adreno 330 GPU. The Nubia Z5S runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and the Mifavour UI 2.0 interface. Supporting the processor and the multitasking, is a 2GB RAM.
The capturing is possible with the 13-megapixel camera with Autofocus on the rear side, assisted with the LED flash and it can record 1080p Full HD videos, and on the front there is a 5-megapixel shooter. It’s the NeoVision Camera that ZTE has on the rear side. The phone comes with 16GB and 32GB storage options and it supports the 3G connectivity along with the other standard connectivity options.
The Nubia Z5S comes with the Dolby Digital with DTS capabilities and the battery included in the smartphone has the capacity of 2300 mAh, similar to what LG provided in the latest Nexus 5 phone. The phone is going to be available in the Black and White colors, and the cost of this would be 1999 Chinese Yuan, and the pre-order would start from November 26th in China. There is also a LTE variant of this coming out at the same time, and it would cost 3256 Chinese Yuan, with every other detail being the same.
ZTE has even announced the ZTE Nubia Z5S Mini, which really isn’t a mini-sized phone, but comes with some good price difference.
