ZTE T230 Smartphone with 4″ Display & 5MP Camera Listed Online

ZTE, a global smartphone manufacturer, has recently launched an entry-level smartphone called as ZTE Mighty 3C. The Mighty 3C is one of the most affordable 4G capable device priced at $79. Today, the brand has unveiled a new ultra-affordable smartphone dubbed as ZTE T230. The smartphone is currently listed on company’s Australian website and is expected to be officially launched soon.

Coming to its specifications, the T230 features a 4-inch (800×400 pixels) TFT WVGA display and is powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 512MB RAM. It has 4GB of built-in storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. The device sports a 5MP rear camera with flash and a 0.3MP front-facing shooter for video calling.

The single sim supported smartphone includes basic connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 1400mAh battery, and its dimensions measure 125 x 64 x 11.5 mm weighing around 110 grams. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and according to ausdroid, the T230 is already available through Officeworks offline stores at $88.

A quick recall, ZTE has recently launched a selfie-centric smartphone named as ZTE Blade S7 priced at $277.99. The Blade S7 features a 5-inch Full-HD display, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, 13MP rear and front-facing camera with LED flash and 2500mAh battery. The device also features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
