  10. ha, it works ! i´m definitely not a geek, and made it work – or maybe i am somehow.
Humm.. let´s see, some apps are more mature mainly on the look and feel side of story. all the memory i saved when installing gingerbread already consumed, and i´d put nothing but the ordinary in, battery lasts slighlty longer indeed, at least it don´t run out at 6 pm ! The mouse track lost a bit of sensibility :(
still to find a way to fix this… keep pushing, this is getting better every day.

  14. Can someone help ASAP

I have HTC desire, wanted to upgrade to 2.3 gingerbread, followed instructions all seemed to work but now my phone is just constantly rebooting itself.

I’ve tried the advice I found elsewhere to solve the problm but nothing worked

    Can anyone help ????

  15. I have updated my HTC desire to Gingerbread 2.3 without any issues so far and am posting step by step on how to upgrade, You can find it at

  16. Since upgrading to 2.3, which seemed to install fine, I have major bugs with text messaging. If I start to text, then delete a couple of characters, the phone jumps in a loop of delete mesages by selection. When I finally get out of this I can’t type anything until I press the menu button and then cancel it. Then I can finish the text, but after this to send the message the phone jumps up to the first message I ever sent to the person and I have to scroll through all of the old messages until I reach the bottom to press the send button. Has anyone had this problem? Also wifi keeps dropping out which used to be really solid. HTC Desire HD on Orange. Would really apprecate a fix for this as it’s really frustrating. Phone was brilliant before the upgrade.
