Xolo Era 4K with 4000mAh Battery & 4G-LTE Launched at Rs. 6,499

Xolo launched the Xolo Era HD smartphone back in November last year with impressive low-end specifications priced at Rs. 4,777. Today, the brand has officially launched the successor of Xolo Era HD called as Xolo Era 4K in India. The smartphone features decent specifications combined with a long-lasting battery. The Era 4K is priced at Rs. 6,499 and is available for purchase online exclusively via Gadgets 360 starting Feb 22nd.

Talking about the specifications, the Xolo Era 4K flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering 294ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with Native Damage Resistance (NDR) laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM for the smooth multitasking experience. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

On the photographic section, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus primary camera with 5P Largan lens, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for video chats and stunning selfie captures. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.

The main USP of the handset is the massive 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 17 hours of talk time and can last upto 528 hours of standby time. The smartphone also features various Gesture Control for easy access to various applications. The dimensions of the device measure 143 x 71.8 x 9.2 mm weighs around 157 grams and comes in Black and White color options. The Xolo Era 4K will be a good competitor for the likes of Micromax Canvas Juice 4G & Intex Aqua Craze that features similar specifications and price tag.

A quick recall, Xolo has recently launched a smartphone called as Xolo 8X-1000i with more focus on design priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone comes with an incredible glass body with a metallic finish around the sides and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on both front and back to prevent it from scratches and drops. The device is powered by MediaTek MT-6592M 1.4GHz octa-core processor and features a 5-inch HD display. It runs on older 4.4.2 KitKat based Hive UI out of the box and lacks 4G-LTE connectivity.
