{App} How to Send/ Receive all file formats over Bluetooth to/ from any Android Phone – Guide

Ever faced issues while sending/ receiving the files over the Bluetooth? If yes, we now have a fix for the same. Most of the times users complain about unable to receive particular file formats over the Bluetooth. Many times if you are on the Stock firmware, you generally face issues in the process of receiving / sending the files over Bluetooth as some of the manufacturers block some certain file types for sending / receiving. The name of this app is “Xposed Repo”.

Xposed Repo will;

  • Allow you to receive almost all file types over the Bluetooth,
  • Allow you to select the file types which you would like to receive &
  • Allow you to select the notification while receiving the incoming files

All the above things are possible to be configured with the help of an app. Download the Xposed Repo app and place the same in your device so that it can be installed in your device.

Once you open the app, you will see the screens as shown below after which you can choose from the files to send;

You then will have to select the file types as mentioned below so that the same can be sent over the Bluetooth. So virtually, you can now send all the file formats / types over the Bluetooth.


The only catch of this is that you need to make sure that your device is rooted. Download “Root Checker” app from the Google PLAY Store to check on whether your device is rooted or not.
