For all those who are on the latest Android 4.0 firmware smartphones or tablets, the time has come to install an all new twitter application. This application comes at a time when Android users are literally bored with the same interface provided by major players for twitter like Official twitter as well as tweetdeck. The only sad part of this application is that as of now this app is only available for the ICS Android 4.0 laden smartphones and tablets. We just hope that boid extends this app to other users of Android too. For your convenience, we have also shown some of the screen captures on how this app looks exactly in your device. Recently we also saw about the arrival of “Carbon for Android” app for twitter.
As of now “boid for android” is in the alpha stages but trust us, this app is really a great looking app and we haven’t come across any of the bugs when used. But yes, soon there will be more updates for this app which will take care of bug fixes if there are any, lists and saved searches, complete tweet composer including the location tagging, tweet viewing, home screen widget viewing capability and a full tablet support. This twitter application gives a native rich feel of the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 and gets indulged in the ICS so as to give a feel of using a default android application which is perfectly made for ICS laden phones. One a first sight this app almost looks similar to that of the Google Plus which again compliments the ICS look.
