Just hours ago, we talked about Micromax launching its latest flagship smartphone dubbed as Canvas 5. The new smartphone comes with high-end specifications and is also priced aggressively at Rs. 11,999. Now, the company has announced a new mid-range smartphone called as Canvas Amaze Q395. The cost of the new device is not yet revealed, but it is expected to go on sale soon.
In terms of specifications, the Canvas Amaze flaunts 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor clocking at 1.3GHz paired with 2G B DDR3 RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU. The device comes with 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers. The dual sim dual standby supported Canvas Amaze comes with basic connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The company is also planning to launch the 4G variant of the Canvas Amaze smartphone in the coming days.
The handset comes backed by a 2000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 7 hours of talk time and upto 260 hours of standby time. The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and will be available in Black and White color variants.
A quick recall, Micromax has recently launched a new smartphone dubbed as Canvas Mega E353 priced at Rs. 8,320. The Canvas Mega features a 5.5-inch HD display, 1.4GHz MediaTek octa-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 2820mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
