Xiaomi has officially launched it’s flagship phablets, the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro in China, Yesterday. Xiaomi Note Pro is altogether different from the Redmi Note phablet which the company is currently selling in India. Redmi Note is the affordable phablet, which was launched last year in March, in China whereas the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro are the flagship phones with high-end specs and features. Since the launch of Redmi Note, Xiaomi has sold millions of handsets. Currently, Xiaomi is selling the Redmi Note 4G, i.e., the 4G variant of Redmi Note in India.

Let us now compare Mi Note and Redmi Note 4G in terms of their hardware, as well as software performance:
Display
Xiaomi Mi Note features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Sharp JDI display offering a pixel density of 386ppi, while Redmi Note features a 5.5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (267 PPI pixel density).
Mi Note uses the dynamic contrast pixel adjustment technology that automatically improves contrast of darker areas to make the picture appear better.
Performance
Xiaomi Mi Note is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor along with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM, while the Redmi Note 4G features an Adreno 305 GPU, which comes as part of Snapdragon 400 SoC along with 2GB of RAM.
Memory
The Mi Note is available in 16GB and 64GB storage sapce options whereas Redmi Note 4G has an internal memory of 8GB, and there is a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion to 32GB.
Camera
Mi Note comes with a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization on the back and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with 2um pixel size. The rear camera has a Philips 2-tone flash for natural brightening.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G features a 13MP rear with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera.
Connectivity Options
Mi Note supports 4G networks,while the Redmi Note 4G is compatible with the 2300MHz Band 40 (TDD-LTE) used by India’s 4G networks. All other connectivity options are same on both phablets.
Software
Both Mi Note and Redmi Note runs on MIUI 6 based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Battery
The Mi Note is backed by a 3090 mAh battery, whereas battery on the Redmi Note 4G edges ahead with a 3,000mAh.
Price
Xiaomi Mi Note is priced at $371(16GB) and $ 451(32GB) respectively, while the redmi note is available at $161 (Rs 9,999).
