To start with, students can directly take the photos and can attach the same to their assignments directly without much efforts. Additionally, one can also attach the PDFs, web pages and other files from other apps.

On the desktop front, these changes are already there in the app and this new mobile app version also has access to 30 Million assignments which was launched around 6 months back. So just to brief, if every assignment had taken around a minute to print, Google has saved a whopping 57 years which otherwise would have taken to print all these assignments. Google has now officially announced the launch of “Classroom” mobile app and students and teachers can connect with each other from virtually everywhere.

Features:
Snap a Photo: Students can snap a photo right from their smartphone and attach the same in their assignment. The best part is that, even friends of students can snap a photo and can upload the same.

Share from other Apps: Students can also easily attach images, PDFs and web pages from other apps to their assignments which further eases students from a compulsion on using this app compulsorily to snap a photo.

Offline Caching: Even if the internet connectivity is not available, students and teachers can get information about their assignments in the Classroom mobile app. Class streams along with the assignments automatically get cached when app is opened with an Internet connection, so that these can be accessed when you don’t have a connection.

The best part is that, the teachers can easily make copies of documents, which then makes it easier for each student to get their hands on assignments. Files are stored in Google Drive folders created specifically for this purpose. Do check out the same if your school / your children’s school uses Google for Education as its one of the next generation techniques for schooling.
