Meet the next flagship smartphone from HTC on March, 01st 2015 in Barcelona in the upcoming Mobile World Congress. While HTC disappointed us in the earlier version of MWC 2014, but it seems like it will be surprising this year with a bunch of devices. While it’s our guess that HTC will be announcing the next flagship smartphone knowing the fact that Samsung is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy S6 alongside. It’s been more than couple of years now and it now seems like HTC will be giving away the UltraPixel concept for High Megapixel camera. If we go by the rumors and the leads, this smartphone is pegged to be dubbed as HTC One M9.
The invite’s tag line, “utopia in progress” as shown in the invite above. While we still have no details about the full specs, it’s rumored that this device may come with the 5 inched screen unlike many manufacturers which are eyeing 5.7inches and above including the likes of Nexus, LG, SONY etc. The metallic finish seems evident along with the unibody design as well along with the 4G LTE support for most of the countries which again will be killer for countries like India where not all flagships come with the 4G LTE support. In terms of processor, this device may come with the Snapdragon 810 processor which is the latest and efficient processor as on date. We also hear that, htc will soon be starting the production of this device along with other HTC devices which will be showcased in the upcoming MWC event. This will be the perfect successor to the HTC’s M8 device which was one of the stars from HTC in the year 2014.
