HTC M8 Home screen leaks

The HTC M8 was rumored to have on-screen navigation buttons as per the tweet from the famous leaker, @evleaks now the pops up with a picture of the home screen of the next flagship from HTC confirming that it does have the on-screen navigation buttons on its screen.

The leaked photo also suggests that the successor to the HTC One will come with the HTC’s Sense skin on top of Android. The screen shows the BlinkFeed and also the bottom four Sense-themed icons around the application launch button. We can also find the navigation and notification areas transparent and the order of the navigation buttons are in the order of back, home and multitasking as the standard for Stock Android from Google. More over we can expect this flagship from HTC to run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat as HTC one is running on it.

We should be getting more and more details about this device as the days goes on and hope that it will turn out very soon, we have also seen its dual rear camera photo in our earlier post. Stay connected for more information.

The HTC’s next flagship M8 that was circulated with rumours has now come up with an Official image, posted on twitter by a Russian site HTCFamily.ru. The picture revealed that the device is having the similar design as it was seen in its predecessor (HTC One). But the picture we got reveled an interesting thing, the device featured a dual rear camera! Yes you heard it right, a dual rear camera.

Photo is showing that a camera is placed at its usual position and the other camera is placed top of it along the top rim. For now we do not have any hardware specifications of the camera on top but the camera holes on the top camera are smaller than the regular camera. There was also a dual LED flash seen beside the usual rear camera and we can also see the rear mic has shifted its side.

Few earlier leaks also hinted the similar design of M8 to that of HTC One, and we would appreciate that, because HTC One was on our list of top 10 Android Smart Phone for February 2014. I am pretty much excited to know more about this device and the mysterious second rear camera. Let’s hope we get some specifications of it very soon.

What do you think of this dual rear camera from HTC? Will it be worth knowing? Any guess what can we expect from it? Comment in the comments section below and stay tuned for more information and updates.

After the earlier rumors about the new Sense platform and the Android version along with the high-end internal powering in the rumored HTC M8 (whose actual name isn’t known), now it is also rumored that the M8 will carry a twin camera sensor which would assist in better focusing, more depth of field and thus a final better picture quality.

The 1080p display, the design and all aren’t much different than the HTC One (which brought about a big change to the design strategy and the build of the HTC smartphones), and we are looking forward to see an official unveiling at the MWC 2014, only if HTC has done things right on time.

Earlier on Jan 4th:
More and more details are being revealed and leaked about the next flagship smartphone from HTC, the M8. The specs that are now leaked, show that the device will be coming with the Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and it would be the newer version of HTC Sense, the Sense 6.0 version. Along with that, we are going to see 2GB of RAM, the same UltraPixel camera that has been failing HTC has been using in the recent flagship devices.

This, when compared with what Samsung Galaxy S5 is being rumored around, would be quite a fail because of the camera, although HTC has been better in the design part, while Samsung has always chosen a standard design for most of its Galaxy smartphones.

Just a few days back, the successor to HTC’s flagship HTC One was seen leaked through a couple photos, but now some more details are leaked and that is through one of the prominent sources Evleaks. The leaked photo showcases just the back panel of the M8 which doesn’t look much different from the HTC One, and the chipset information is what is known for now apart from a few other details that Evleaks just posted.

Sounds like the HTC M8 is — and you could probably predict — a 5-inch, 1080p handset powered by KitKat and a Snapdragon 800.

So, the prime purpose of the HTC M8 could be the new chipset and the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Because, HTC is still retaining the same 5-inch screen with the Full HD display, except only if they decide to change the display from the current one, which isn’t any bad at all. The HTC One has a Super LCD3 display with the Full HD resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.

There is a cutout shown on the back panel, above the rear camera, and this is for the fingerprint scanner which they introduced in the HTC One Max. But the cutout size is not the same and is smaller than the one in the One Max.

The processor upgrade is going to be an excellent one, because the predecessor has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor clocking at 1.7 GHz. But for the competition, HTC isn’t picking up with the pace of Samsung, as the latter is already in the process of the development of the new 64-bit processors for their next flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5.

These rumors and leaks won’t stay for long as HTC might soon, probably at the CES 2013, might launch the HTC M8 smartphone and we would update you whenever that is officially out.
