Lenovo IdeaTab S2 10 Tablet Unvieled with Detachable Keyboard Dock

It will rain with Android tablets and smartphone at CES 2012 and as the day 1 kicks-off, Lenovo has announced the latest IdeaTab tablet officially unveiled.

The IdeaTab S2 is a 10 inches Android tablet powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich the latest addition to the Android operating system versions. By Q2 2012 most of the high-end tablet will feature minimum of Android 4.0 OS and this tablet certainly is looking to take the lead. It will have the dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8960 processor and can also be used as a detachable keyboard dock. When you attach this tablet with keyboard dock it will look like your normal tablet.

It will be with Lenovo’s own Mondrian User interface and it would be interesting to see how the overlay works and users would be happy to compare with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface. Other point to talk about this tablet is that it will powered with whopping 20 hours of battery life as reckoned by Lenovo and it’s such a good idea to come up with good battery life. It will have access to Lenovo’s own App Shop store along with the access to Android Market for downloading of apps, games, widgets and lot more. This tablet will be made available in China and company says it will bring it to the international market very soon. They also didn’t release the pricing of it.

Remembered, few months back we got a news of Asus Padfone to be made available in 2012. Still there is no news from Asus about such device which combines smartphone and tablet.
