Lenovo’s 6.8 Inch Phablet with 3,500 mAh Battery Gets Certification by TENAA

Chinese authority TENAA has recently listed the Lenovo PB1-770N phablet. The device sports a 6.8-inch 1080p display. It comes with a unibody metallic case with plastic around the rear camera. It measures only 7.7 mm and packs 3.500 mAh of battery. The device will be powered by a 1.5GHz octa core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM on board and 32GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card up to 64GB can be used as well.

Lenovo’s new phablet will offer dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and a microUSB v2.0 port for charging. Lenovo PB1-770N runs Android. The device will have 13MP primary camera, but you’ll be limited to 1080p videos and a 5MP front camera. This handset will offer 4G LTE connectivity, and the certified variant came with support for TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, cdma2000, CDMA 1X and GSM networks.

With these specs, the phablet will compete with the Huawei P8Max. Huawei launched the P8max at its event in London, couple of months back. The P8max also features a 6.8-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LTPS display with a pixel density of 326PPI. Under the hood is the company’s Hisilicon Kirin octa-core chipset with 64bit capability. It is paired with a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The phablet includes the same 13-megapixel snapper found on the P8, with an RGBW sensor, optical image stabilization, and dual-LED flash. On the front, however, there is a smaller 5-megapixel selfie camera.
