The LG G2 Mini Smart phone is going for a global roll out starting next month, LG announced that the LG G2 mini will be starting its sale with CIS countries (Common wealth of Independent States). This mini version of the LG G2 was introduced early this year in the month of February which is the first every mini Smart phone from LG and comes in the midrange section. The LG G2 mini has a 4.7 inch display and will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The LG G2 mini comes with a 4.7 inch qHD touch screen display with 960 x 540 pixel resolutions and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8926 processor (Latin American LTE version packs 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4i quad-core processor) and is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. There is an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. Moreover the device will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating System and is a Dual SIM (optional) variant.

Coming to the connectivity the device features 4G LTE and 3G HSPA connectivity along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (4G LTE version only). The on board memory of the device is at 8 GB that can be further extended with micro SD card slot. There is a 2440 mAh battery on the back to power the device that can be removable.

Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company noted that this compact G2 mini will be offering a combination of design, hardware and UX features that were not available earlier, that will make the G2 mini a very attractive option for midrange market. The company also said that the LG G2 mini will be coming to CIS countries and it will be followed by Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.
