Pre Requisites:

This is very important step which most of the users tend to neglect but its highly recommended that before proceeding the battery needs to be minimum of 80%.
Enhancements in New Gingerbread 2.3 Release:
There are quite a few changes which are made in different categories of features which are present in the phone. We have listed below in a detailed manner.
Email and Messaging:
- The folders of the Email along with the Labels now work perfectly,
- Maximum attachment size is now correctly set and the Mail for Exchange service has been modified for faster fetching of the mail. Also, last but not the least you can now attach files of unlimited sizes of your choice.
- Messages can now be stored in the SIM Card and also you can view the messages through the Settings menu from the option of “Manage Sim Card messages”. You can now also set the correct out of office message without bothering about the Start or the End time. Also the popup message asking to delete the account while changing the Sim card now displays correctly.
Device Features:
- The cursor has been improved so that you can then edit the text easily and also the list menu force close issue now has been sorted out. Issues related to the connectivity with the HDMI cable too have been fixed and data now works correctly when toggled between the data mode (Normal mode) and Airplane Mode.
