Manual Update Galaxy Note II N7100 with XXDMC3 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware – Guide

Procedure to Update Galaxy Note II N7100 with XXDMC3 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware:

  • Download XXDMC3 Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, extract both the files preferably to the desktop and Open Odin on your computer.
  • Turn Off your phone so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. Download Mode in Galaxy Note II can be entered by pressing the Volume Down rocker key + Menu Button and holding these both, press the power button at the same time. If the device boots in the normal mode, you will need to retry the process.
  • Connect your phone to the computer with the help of Original USB cable and then you will see that the ID: COM section will turn Yellow indicating that all the drivers are installed successfully. Click on “PDA” to select the tar file which you will get after the firmware zip extraction to click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. It will take around 3 -4 minutes for applying the firmware update.
  • Once the firmware is updated, you will see the hoem screen and that’s when you need to disconnect the device from computer.

Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
