Update: Today, live pictures of the alleged Galaxy J5 appeared online at SamMobile. As can be seen in the images, the Galaxy J5 (SM-J500F) has a similar design that of the Galaxy J1. It is made up of plastic body with removable back panel – with the difference being in its screen size and dimensions.
The battery is removable, and the SIM card slot and microSD card slot at the back of the device. The device will be running the new version of TouchWiz (on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop), which debuted with the Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge.
The rumoured specs of the device include a 5-inch display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage (along with a microSD card slot), and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Few days back, it was reported that the Samsung will be bringing two new smartphones -Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 in its J-series. Now the Galaxy J5 smartphone has been spotted on the GFXBench website. The Galaxy J-series has only one smartphone, the Galaxy J1; that was released earlier this year.
The device has a 5-inch display of 720 x 1,280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core processor inside a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chip, coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone was running Android 5.0.2 as per the listing.
According to the benchmark results, the smartphone has a 12MP front camera and 5MP front camera. The Galaxy J5 will be 8.5 mm thin and a weight of 149 grams.
On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch HD TFT LCD display, 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz octa-core Marvel PXA1936 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 4GB/8GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, and a 3,000 mAh battery.
