SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore

APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
- Enable the USB Debugging Mode in your computer from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. Also, the minimum battery life should be a minimum of 40% or else there is a risk of device getting turned Off in the middle of firmware update.
- Just in case if your device is already rooted, after applying with this update the root access will be revoked. We will be coming up with the rooting tutorial of this firmware very soon. Turn Off your device to enter the device in the Recovery Mode for clearing all the cache and the data.
- Recovery Mode in Galaxy S2 can be entered by pressing the Volume Up + Menu Button and by holding these two buttons, you need to Power ON the device. Just in case if your device is booted in the normal mode, you will need to retry entering the device in the recovery mode.
