Samsung Galaxy Ace users can now celebrate as an new update has arrived though a beta release and is dubbed as the XWKPT which is the Gingerbread 2.3.4 update, the last Gingerbread 2.3.4 update we saw was with the firmware version XXKPH which had some issues but this firmware comes at a time when most of the users are still waiting for an official release from the Samsung via KIES. Though we can only hope that the Official release will arrive very shortly but in the mean time you can apply this version update on y6uor phone manually using the Odin flash tool which we will see in the die course of the article.
Since this update is a global beta update, any one with their Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 handset can update with this release of XWKPT. Though this update is not recommended for the ones which are locked with the specific networks which is also called as the network locked phone. If you continue to still proceed for updating the networked locked phone then you may or may not get it successfully updated.
