Pre Requisites before updating:
- In the due course of the firmware upgrade process there will be occurring the data loss which you will have to take care by the following methods. Never proceed to the firmware updation process without following the below tips or else there is a high probability that you might just lose the data.
SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
