- Now, as soon as you enter into the recovery mode, you need to select the option of “install zip from SD card” and then “choose zip from SD Card” after which you will see the list of files which are there in the phone.
- After this, select the file which is named as “JellyBeanRom_GalaxyS_GTI9000.zip” and after which the update procedure will be commencing. You will then see that once the update process is done you will be again landed back to the recovery screen where you need to choose the option of “++++ Go Back ++++” to get back to the main menu and then choose to “reboot system now” to restart the phone.
Bonus Application Packs:
- The bonus applications pack can be installed from the Recovery Mode.But before proceeding you need to connect your phone with the computer using the USB cable which you got at the time of the purchase and then move the Corresponding application packs from below to your phone and then proceed to the last step.
Samsung Galaxy S2 Apps Pack:
This includes the applications like Reader’s Hub, Weather Clock, Digital Clock, Email, Email Widget, Social Hub (Recovery zip)
Samsung Galaxy S Stock Apps Pack:
Aldiko, Buddies Now, Days, Dual Clock, Job Manager, Mini Diary, My Files, Press Reader, Samsung Widgets, Think droid office, Unified Inbox & Write and Go plus Maps with Street View
- To install this, you need to first get into the recovery mode and then choose the application of “install zip from SD card” and then “choose zip from SD Card” and then reboot the phone. So, in this way you can easily install the add on application packs in your phone.
