The domestic smartphone maker, Xolo has launched many budget-friendly smartphones in the recent times with impressive specifications. Today, the brand has launched yet another ultra-cost device in its Era series called as Xolo Era 4G in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,777 and will be available for purchase online exclusively via Snapdeal starting February 26th. Even at this price tag, the Xolo Era 4G features decent specifications and the registrations for sale have already started.
Coming to the specifications part, the Xolo Era 4G flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs 64-bit Spreadtrum SC9830A quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Mali-400 MP2 GPU for the lag-free performance of the device. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and is further upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in near future.
On the camera section, the device features a 5MP autofocus rear camera with dual LED flash, OmniVision sensor, f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. Interestingly, the smartphone also has front flash and is sure to attract selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The Era 4G is the most affordable smartphone to come with VoLTE support in India.
It comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and can be further expanded to 32GB using a microSD card slot. The handset packs a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on single charge. The smartphone comes with many pre-installed apps and also supports 10 Indian languages. The dimensions of the plastic build device measure 145.5 x 72 x 8.45 mm weighs around 142 grams and comes in Black color option. Xolo Era 4G will be a tough competitor for the likes of Intex Aqua Raze and Lava A71 that sports similar specifications.

The smartphone features 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735P quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, 8MP main camera, 5MP front shooter, 4G-LTE, massive 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
