The Yu Yureka is an Android based dual-SIM smartphone, developed by Micromax in partnership with Cyanogen Inc, under the brand name YU.The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon.
Yu Yureka sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card.On camera front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.It runs on CyanogenMod OS 11 based on Android KitKat.
Following is the detailed guide to Install PAC-man ROM on YU Yureka. This custom ROM has been developed by XDA Developer @Santhosh_M. The ROM is based the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS.

PRE-REQUISITES:
- Do NOT flash this ROM on devices other than the Yu Yureka.
- Before getting on with the flashing, you need a custom recovery like CMW or TWRP to install the ROM. If you’ve not yet installed a custom recovery on your Yu Yureka before, follow the Steps to install CWM Recovery on Yu Yureka device.
- Bootloader on your smartphone should be unlocked. Follow the Steps to unlock the Bootloader.
- Your smartphone should be ROOTED to flash custom RAM. If you’ve not yet rooted your Yu Yureka device before, follow the Steps to root the Yu Yureka Smartphone.
- Ensure the device has at least 70% battery charge to prevent unexpected device shutdown (due to battery drain) while installing the ROM
- Backup your Device : Back up important data and stuff
- Download and transfer the PAC-man ROM on your phone’s internal memory.
- Download and transfer the GAPPS file on your phone’s internal memory.
- Then reboot the device into recovery mode as follows:
- Power OFF the device and wait until it is completely shutdown.
- Now press and hold the Volume Up + Volume Down + Power buttons together until the device enters the recovery mode.
- After entering in the recovery mode, clear the phone memory, by choosing ‘wipe data/factory reset’ option.
- Now, clear the cache memory by selecting “wipe cache partition.”
- Now, go back to the ClockworkMod recovery, and select “advanced” and tap on “wipe Dalvik cache”
- Again come back to main recovery screen and then tap on “Install zip” locate and select the PAC-man ROM zip file in SD card to start the installation process.
- Once done with the installation process, navigate to ‘+++++Go Back+++++’ and re-start the device by opting “reboot system now” seen in the recovery menu.
