Samsung Galaxy A7 Successor with 5.5″ Full-HD Display Passes through TENAA

Earlier, we exclusively reported about the next-gen Samsung Galaxy A7 being spotted on GFXBench listing. Today, the successor of the Galaxy A7 carrying a model number SM-A7100 has been certified by TENAA revealing most of the specifications of the device.

As per the TENAA listing, the Galaxy A7 (2016) features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full-HD display and will come powered by an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The device will come with 3GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion of memory upto 128GB. It is expected to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the dual sim capable device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. Its dimensions are 151.5 × 73.95 × 6.95 mm weighs around 155 grams and will be available in Gold color variant. Although the company officially confirms nothing, we advise you to take this with a proverbial pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more details about the device in coming days.

To recap, Samsung has recently launched a new budget smartphone in its Galaxy J line-up called as Galaxy J3 in China. The Galaxy J3 features a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, quad-core SoC, 1.5GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8MP main camera, 5MP front shooter, 4G-LTE connectivity, 2600mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
