YU, an Indian based smartphone manufacturer, has been in the news for a while now about the launch Yutopia its upcoming flagship smartphone. While everyone is waiting for the launch of Yutopia, a new smartphone from YU has been spotted on the GFXBench database. The new smartphone comes with a model number YU6000 Yuphoria and is supposed to be the enhanced variant of the YU Yuphoria smartphone that launched earlier this year.
According to the GFXBench listing, the YU YU6000 Yuphoria will feature a small 4.6-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display and will come powered by MediaTek MT6753 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU. The device has 3GB RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and is also expected to include a microSD card slot for expansion of memory.
On the photographic section, the device will sport a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. As per the listing, the device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
With these specifications, the new variant of the YU Yuphoria seems to be quite powerful and is an upgrade from its predecessor in every aspect. We can also expect the company to launch the new Yuphoria alongside the much hyped Yutopia smartphone in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for more details!
