Today, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo has officially launched a new smartphone called as Lenovo Vibe X3 in China. The Vibe X3 is the successor of the Vibe X2 that launched last year and is an upgrade in every aspect. It is also the first ever smartphone from Lenovo to be designed by Motorola. Along with the high-end Vibe X3, the company also launched the smaller variant called as Vibe X3 Lite.
The main highlight of the Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Lite is the dual front-facing stereo speakers. The smartphones also feature Hi-Fi 3.0 audio technology with three separate speaker amplifiers for noise, echo cancellation and music playback. Both the devices come with Hybrid Dual SIM slot with 4G-LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI out of the box.

Lenovo Vibe X3
The high-end Vibe X3 flaunts a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The device comes powered by Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants 32GB/64GB along with a microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB.
On the photography front, the Vibe X3 sports a 21MP rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF for faster focus and dual tone LED flash. The rear camera of the device is also capable of 4K video recording. On the front, it comes with an 8MP shooter for video calling and perfect selfie images. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, Infrared and microUSB port.
The handset also features Dolby Atmos Certified Audio and a fingerprint scanner placed below the camera sensor and LED flash module on the back of the unit. It comes backed by a 3600mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on a single charge and also features Quick Charge 2.0 support. The dimensions of the device measure 153.6 x 76.5 x 9.1 mm weighs around 135 grams and is currently available in White color variant.
Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite
The Vibe X3 Lite not only comes with slightly different specifications but also features a different design especially at the back when compared to the high-end Vibe X3. The dual tone LED flash module on the Vibe X3 Lite is placed right beside the camera sensor, and it also comes with a removable back panel.
Coming to its specifications, the device comes with a similar 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) FHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6753 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers.
The Vibe X3 Lite comes with connectivity like 4G-LTE, NFC, Infrared, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, microUSB port and it also features a fingerprint scanner placed on the back of the unit. It comes backed by a 3400mAh battery that can easily last for a single day on mixed usage. The dimensions of the device measure 153.6 x 76.5 x 9.15 mm weighs around 152 grams and is only available in Black color variant.
The Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Lite smartphones are already up for pre-order in China and if you are interested in buying one. The top model of the Vibe X3 with 3GB RAM/64GB internal storage is priced at 2,999 Yuan (approx $470/Rs. 31,000) while the 32GB version of the Vibe X3 costs 2,499 Yuan (approx $398/Rs.26,250). The Vibe X3 Lite is the cheapest and is priced at 1,899 Yuan (approx $300/Rs. 19,800). As of now there is no word on the availability of the smartphones in the International markets. Stay tuned…!
