Tutorial : How To Root Xiaomi Mi3 MIUI Rom Build 15, 18, 19, 22, 23

Note: In order to successfully complete rooting of your device you need to download the correct file for your build. It is easy to check build number of your device. Follow this instructions, Go to General Settings> About Phone> See the MIUI version, the number showing alongside the MIUI name is your build.

Procedure to root your Xiaomi Mi3 Build 15, 18, 19, 22, 23 (Global version):

  • Download the respective zip file for your device from the below list, once it’s done, save that file in the root directory of the internal storage on your device.

  • Now go to Tools > Open the Updater, and then tap on the Menu option and select the “Select Update Package”.

  • To initiate the rooting of your device, you need to select the downloaded zip file and tap on the update option.

  • Be patient, it will take some time to root your device and don’t panic if it gets restarted, as it is a part of rooting procedure.

Allow root permission inorder to complete the procedure

  • Now to complete this procedure you need to open the security option from the General settings area and allow root permission access. And it’s done, your Xiaomi Mi3 device is rooted now.
