Update:Huawei Ascend P7 went on sale in India today, at a price of Rs 27,999. The smartphone was announced 6 months back. The smartphone is currently available on Flipkart, which is also Huawei’s online retail partner for Honor Holly and Honor 6 smartphones, as well as Honor X1 tablet.
The Ascend P7 is the successor to the Huawei Ascend P6 and is 6.5 mm thick. It’s a single SIM phone that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with company’s Emotion UI 2.3 skin on top. Ascend P7 include a 13 megapixel rear shooter and an 8 megapixel front facing camera. Last month, the Huawei launched the Huawei Honor Holly smartphone and Huawei Honor X1 tablet, priced at Rs. 6,999 and Rs. 19,999 respectively.

Huawei Ascend P7 gets leaked again but this time it’s not the pictures but few specifications comes up with the courtesy of the prolific leaker @evleaks. Earlier we expected this device to be unveiled at the MWC 2014 but it didn’t happened to be, but earlier this month we got some leaked pictures of the device on Weibo.
@evleaks confirmed that the Huawei Ascend P7 will be coming with a 5 inch 1080p display and will have a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera with 1 GB on board memory and a micro SD card for extending the storage. The notable thing is the processor given to the device is a Krinn 910T chipset that will feature a quad core Cortex – A9 processor clocking at 1.8 GHz. This device will be going official on May 7th so we need to wait couple more weeks to see this Smart phone.

Huawei Ascend P7 was one of the most expected devices in the Mobile World Congress that was held earlier this year is Spain. The device was leaked earlier with its back panel and specifications, now few other images got leaked and getting circulated on the online China’s Weibo network. However these images are not of high quality, we can see the device is pretty good in hand with thin bezel.
The image leaks shows that the device used is an internal testing P7 unit and it will be the first image with the front side of the Smart phone getting leaked. The back panel in the image doesn’t give you that shiny look that we are looking but since it is a testing unit we can assume to get a better panel with the original device. The Operating system seems to be the EmotionUI, and as per the earlier leaks we can expect it to come out with version 2.0.
Earlier we also got few specifications of the device getting leaked, which are more likely to be coming with the device. According to the leaks, the device will be coming with a 5 inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolutions on it which is rather decent enough. Moreover to power the device there is a 1.6 GHz HiSilicon SoC coupled with 2 GB of RAM, it will also sport a 13 MP camera on the rear, but not much details of it were given. It also seems like the device will be getting a 2,460 mAh battery on the back to power the device and will be running on Android OS with EmotionUI 2.0 on the top.
