Micromax a leading Indian based phone manufacturer has come up with an Android tablet and this time it’s big that it will be powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich the latest operating system. Indian smartphones manufacturers have jumped in to Android tablet manufacturing with Rcom coming out with CDMA Tab, Airtel coming out with Beetel Magiq tablet and many others, the real problem is they all are with outdated Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Atleast if they had included Android 3.2 which is customized OS for tablets would have been better.

Micromax P 300 is a 7 inches Android tablet with TFT LCD display screen with multi touch input 640 x 480 pixel resolution. The good thing hear is that with the price tag it has got, its never easy to find capacitive touch support tablet but Micromax P 300 does has that. The tablet includes A10 processor but there is no word from Micromax about the speed provided by it. It includes 0.3 mega pixel camera on the rear side and I think it’s provided just for the namesake. It comes with 512 MB DDR3 RAM. The tablet comes with 4 GB internal memory storage and if you think that the space is not enough for you then you can add up to 32 GB of memory using the micro SD card, with the memory card slot.

The tablet has the option of data connectivity via Wi Fi or using the 3G internet services with WCDMA and CDMA EVDO. It has a SIM card slot for 3D data browsing but the tablet doesn’t support voice calls and this is compatible with USB Dongle. The good thing about this tablet is that it comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre installed on it as opposed to various other tablets which supplies at present with Android 3.2 Honeycomb latter provides update. With the Android on this tablet, you can access Android Play Store for downloading of various Android applications, widgets, live wallpapers and other handy tools.

The tablet can handle audio media files such as MP3, WMA, OGV, 3GP, Wav, FLAC, AAC, various video files such as MEPG 4, AVI, WMV, MOV, MKV etc., and documents such as DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX format compatible. It comes with USB and HDMI port along with a 3.5 mm headset audio jack.

This tablet accordingly to the specification beats iBerry Auxus which is also an another Android 4.0 tablet. Certainly Micromax has got a good name than iBerry.
