  • We already heard that Microsoft is bringing Cortana to iOS and Android, today the apk file of the Cortana was leaked for leaked. The company believes that it might leaked by the beta testers who are invited from China or US. As this the beta version, there might me some bugs that will be fixed before launching the final version. It can’t perform all the tasks what it can do on Windows Phones.

  • Motorola has sent out the invites for an event scheduled on July 28. The event will be held in Delhi, London, New York, and Sao Paulo. We expect the company to launch the Moto G (2015) and two variants of Moto X (2015), as the international invite has the words “XGX, Moto.” The Indian invite had an entirely different message saying “A good friend will offer you their umbrella when it rains.   • Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei had got the NOD to manufacture telecoms equipment in India. With this Huawei will become the first Chinese company to manufacture and sell smartphones in India. The company applied for the license to manufacture in India before 19 months and finally it got approved now. Along with Huawei, some other Chinese smartphone companies were shown interest in manufacturing smartphones locally.

  • HTC launched its Desire 820G+ in India this week. The device were priced at Rs. 19,990 and offers 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera that are more than enough for good selfies. The battery of 2600mAh capacity offers up to 12 hours of talk time or 560 hours on standby.

  • The Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7, which unveiled in China last month, are now officially launched in India for Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 14,999. These smartphones are first from Samsung to feature front facing LED flashes. The J5 runs on Snapdragon 410 processor while J7 runs on Snapdragon 615 processor. Both the devices comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

  • There is a rumour that Huawei is going to launch Huawei Nexus with 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440) display as well as a metal body. According to the notable leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), the smartphone comes powered by Snapdragon 820 processor and has a fingerprint reader. We can see the launch of two Nexus devices for the first time apart from the Nexus tablet. The last years HTC made Nexus 9 will be continued as the flagship tablet for one more year.

  • The Invite system for purchasing OnePlus smartyphones is back with OnePlus Two. According to the companys blog post, The OnePlus Two comes with more inventory than the last time and it will be much easier to get an invite. For the first time, the copmapny introduces the “Reservation List” where you need to enter the email and OnePlus sends the invites as soon as they are available.

  • ZTE this week announced a new smartphone ‘AXON’ for $450 in The US. The smartphone offers 5.5-inch QHD display with Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of RAM. There is a dual camera setup with 13MP + 2MP cameras which can record videos with 4K resolution. For better selfies, it comes with an 8MP front camera. It has 32GB of internal storage, a battery of 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

  • Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy A8 in China. The Galaxy A8 is the slimmest smartphone manufactured by the company with a thickness of just 5.9mm. It comes with a display of 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is a 16MP rear camera, 5MP front facing camera and a battery of 3050mAh. The A8 comes with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the physical home button. It runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based TouchWiz UI.

  • After launching Axon brand smartphone, ZTE updated the mid-range segment with Boost Max+ which will be Boost Mobile exclusive. The device sports a 5.7-inch HD display and comes with Snapdragon 410 SoC clocked at 1.2GHz. There is a 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internals storage with microSD card slot and a battery of 3400mAh capacity. Coming to the camera, it has an 8MP rear camera and 1MP front camera, which seems quite outdated. The company priced the smartphones at $200 which might face tough competition from Asus ZenFone 2 which also comes with the same price.
