In the world of droids where everyday a new tablet is brought in the market, leads to market go tougher and confusing as well. If you have a few options then you have a choice to make but when you have so many tablets you get confused with which one you should go with. Android tablets are now available in all variants of 7 inches, 7.7 inches, 8 inches, 9 inches, 10.1 inches, 11 inches and rumors of Samsung coming out with 11.6 inches sounds very true. Anyway we head to news that a promising Zen Pad A 10 new Android tablet has just begun to show up with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and dual core being the highlighted feature. The tablet will arrive in early first of April in India.
Zen Pad A 10 Android Tablet
Zen Pad A 10 tablet was announced very recently by HT Impex, a Mumbai based company. Going through the specifications of this tablet its comes under the 7 inches tablets and the design of it more often looks like the top selling Amazon Kindle Fire but I hope it would be able to get atleast 10 % of Kindle Fire success it would be outstanding result for them. Zen Pad A 10 tablets runs on the dual core Boxchip processor clocked at 1.5 Ghz and has 512 MB DDR3 RAM to handle multi tasking. It comes with 4 GB internal memory storage capacity and as usual it has a microSD Card slot to expand the memory supporting 32 GB in size. Finally users can access Android Play Store at where they can install, try, purchase free, paid games, applications, widgets, tools, something for which Android OS is famous for.
The Zen Pad A 10 tablet screen with 800 x 480 pixel resolution support multi touch and nothing much is said about the screen as of now. The surprising thing about this tablet is that the Android version included is the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0. This is quite interesting as most of the tablets in Indian brands comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, not even with Honeycomb, the special OS by Android again for tablet PC. Ice Cream Sandwich on the other hand is the updated version which is for both Android tablets and smartphones as well.
Going through the other features, it has internet access via Wi Fi and it has a SIM card slot provided the tablet itself which can’t be used for phone calls and SMS but can be used for USB connectivity. The USB card support 3G HSDPA connectivity which provides faster internet access and 3G is just emerging technology in telecom in India now. The specifications just doesn’t end there as it has front facing 1.3 mega pixel camera which can be used for video chat with various messengers services and can also be used for taking photos. The tablet also includes HDMI video out port, USB port and mini USB port to connect with your PC and finally it has a 3.5 mm headset jack as well.
Zen Pad A 10 Price & Availability
With specifications and features are interesting, I am sure you would be looking out for hands on with this tablet. It will be made available in two variants of white and black at various electronics stores and online shopping portals from April first week of 2012 and this for sale in India only. Unlike Kindle Fire for which you need to purchase the accessories different, Zen Pad A 10 tablet comes with pre included charger, USB extension cable, mini USB cable, full USB cable and a leather carry pouch. All these are priced at 8000 (i.e., $ 160) and sounds to be better deal of all the Indian manufactured Android tablets, atleast specifications wise and we are looking for hands-on review of this tablet as well.
I am sure you would be looking for other Indian manufactured tablets and among them are the BSNL TPad, Fujezone 3G Tablet, Sruta 7 Tablet, Micromax P300 Tablet, Mercury mtab2 tablet, Lacs Tablet, Beetel Magiq 3G Tablet, Cisco Cius Tablet, Zinglife z97t, HCL Me X Tablet, Tabplus Rio Tablet, Reliance 3G Tablet, Spice Mi 270, Huawei Mediapad 7, Zync Z990, Wishtel Ira tablets and lot many coming up very frequently. A perfect competitor of the Zen Pad A10 is Micromax Funbook comes with same features as that of Zen Pad and its available at Rs 6,499. All the tablets are priced from Rs 4,000 to Rs 12,000 and out of those Zen Pad A10 seems to be promising Aakash Alternative.
