Countries like Scotland are taking step forward for using tablets in schools and colleges, Indian manufacturers are still targeting the consumers directly, thanks to large population of India that they expect some sales as the price is on the cheaper side.
Go Tech Digital Pvt Ltd in India today announced the launch of two new Android tablet in the market and we think this adds to the fatty population of tablets available in India. Now in India, take down any price range you have alternatives available, you have alternatives for Aakash tablet, alternative for Micromax Funbook and alternatives for Samsung Galaxy Tab as well. Here are the detailed specifications of this tablets.

Its powered with 800 Mhz processor ofcourse single core to just operate the tablet at good enough speed and the Android 2.2 Froyo is the operating system of this tablet. Though OS version is not designed for the tablet, Indian manufacturers continue to make use of it on tablet. Along with that it comes with 256 MB of RAM and it comes with 2 GB of flash internal memory and as a common story it comes with a micro SD card slot supporting 32 GB of storage capacity via micro SD card. It comes with a front facing camera with VGA quality. There is option to access internet via Wi Fi and there is no option for SIM card here.
Funtab comes with Bluetooth 2.0 for wireless file transfer and there is a 3G external dongle. There is an output port via USB and 3.5 mm audio jack is to support headphones. This comes with 2800 mAh battery and this is priced at Rs 3,999 and its one of the alternative to Aakash tablet.
Fonetab Tablet
Fonetab has the same 7 inches resistive touchscreen display, though one would have expected capacitive touchscreen seeing at its price and its competitors at this price tag are supplied with capacitive touch. This comes with 800 Mhz processor just good enough to run the application at average pace and the Android version is definitely out of normal with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
Truly we are disappointed to learn about Fonetab specifications as the competitor with Funtab have come out with capacitive and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Anyways it equipped with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory along with a micro SD card slot, VGA camera as well. The major difference is that Fonetab comes with a SIM Card slot so that you can make use of this tablet for calling and 2G internet access.
Most of the features are same with both the tablet and I don’t know why Fonetab is priced almost double than Funtab Fusion thought it comes with SIM card slot only. These tablet will focus on education sector and it comes with pre-loaded applications such as Edu TV and funBazaar app store along with Google Play Store. The Google Play Store especially allows you to download thousands of applications on your mobile phone or tablet available for both free and paid downloads.
